Jo-Ann Gift Cards - The Gift that Inspires

quilt shops

How do you decide which quilt shops you like best?  Is it the material they have, or the kind of service you receive at the shop, or the size of the shop?  I use all three criteria in choosing a favorite shop and one of my very favorite shops is the Marshall House in Marshall Mich.  It is about two hours away from my home town and my friends and I will use any excuse to go to Marshall so we can go to the store.  This past Saturday Marshall had a quilt show, which was great, so five of us got in the car and off we went. The quilt shop was first on our list so we set the GPS and headed for the shop.
This shop is in an old house, and there are three rooms full of material, from Asian to Mary Englebert and every thing you could want inbetween.  There is a room just for patterns, and a porch where there is material on sale.  Karen the owner, always has a smile, as do all her clerks, and they always have time to help you pick out material, answer all questions and make you feel like you are the most important person to come to the shop that day.
A couple of my friends had not been to the Marshall house and as soon as we got in the car they began planning to come back.
I have some pictures inside the store, and as soon as I learn how I will add them to this blog.
If you have been to this shop tell us about your experience there.
