These are online fabric quilt shops. It is that time again; yes, it is spring and time for some more shop hops. Fab Shop Hop is an Internet shopping event you can access from your computer and shop all over the country. There are eight Shop Hops in 2009 starting in January and continuing in March, April, June, July, September, October and the Holiday Shop for November/December. You can compete for prizes on the Shop Hop, but first there are some rules. You must live in the U.S. or Canada and become a member of the Shop Hop network, which is free to join. To sign up, go to the Fabshophop website for all instructions to continue.
There is a list of the shops that participate in the Shop Hop, but to save you time, check out the participating shops in your state. Another rule is you must visit 100 shops in 30 days, which can keep you busy all day. When you go to a shop that is a Shop Hop participant, it will have a little bunny on the home page so you will know you have the right shop.
At the FabShopHop home page there other features to check out, like the blow out sale. If you are looking for a special fabric, do a fabric search; you can list what you want and whichever fabric shops have it, they will e-mail you and let you know they can help. This program is a fun way to get what you are looking for and win prizes without ever leaving home. If you have ever gone to the fabric shop on Saturday and try to get through the shop, this is much more fun. You can kick back with your second cup of coffee and shop the day away.
